following reading a lot of posts about playing cards I decided to open up a brick of 'New Standard' Bicycles to have a look

before opening this one I was using up an old bricks of ‘Rider Backs’

I understand that a while ago, the box design was changed to the ‘New Standard’ design (no card back design on back of box, no longer says ‘Rider Backs’ or ‘808’) which is no biggie

But the ink on the cards is not the same as the ‘Rider Backs’ the pips and borders are a slightly different size and if I place a gaffed Bicycle card next to the same card from a ‘New Standard’ deck I can tell the difference instantly.

I was aware of this issue a while ago but was told Bicycle would be reverting back to the original pip colour / size this doesn’t seem to have happened

Has anyone else noticed this?
